How We Work – Interior Design Service
Introduction – I meet with you to understand a little more about your requirements and expectations for the project. We review the architectural plans or physical spaces and discuss options, likes and dislikes, timelines etc. After this initial meeting we will write you a tailored fee proposal based on the scope of works.

Briefing / Meeting 1 – Once you have signed and returned the fee proposal, we begin with a more thorough briefing meeting. This is an ideal time to show us any ‘tear sheets’ you have collected for the project or any selected finishes or fixtures. We discuss in more detail; finishes, colours, existing and possible future furnishings, layout options, fixtures and appliances. After the meeting you will be emailed summary notes and shopping lists for items discussed.

Concept Stage / Meeting 2 – After preliminary selections of fixtures and appliances have been made, we commence drawings based on this feedback. Once concept drawings have been drawn, we schedule a second meeting to discuss the drawings, materials & fixtures in greater depth and discuss any changes. A set of concept drawings will be given to you to take away for consideration.

Preliminary Stage / Meeting 3 – We order in any outstanding samples and update the drawings following any feedback. Preliminary drawings are discussed at the next meeting and finishes and fixtures selections are firmed up. Any outstanding selections are required after this meeting for inclusion in the preliminary specification.

Final Stage / Meeting 4 – Drawings are updated and finalized as per selections and feedback. Final meeting to discuss any outstanding items. Following the meeting, drawings are notated and dimensioned and specification is finalized. Print and PDF copies are then issued to the client for distribution to builders, cabinet makers etc.

Site Visit – Either during construction or after completion, we may be required to visit the site to check progress or advise solutions or simply to congratulate you on your new interior!
